Rockstar Games released the first trailer for GTA 6 at the beginning of December 2023. The release date and supported platforms were also revealed.
While the open-world title is set to be released in 2025 for the two current-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, there has been no word yet on a PC version.
However, we are sure that Rockstar Games will also announce a PC version at a later date.
The expected minimum and recommended graphics and PC system requirements for GTA 6 are outlined below.
As the title will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, we can already make a pretty good prediction for the expected PC system requirements based on the hardware installed in the consoles.
GTA 6 minimum system requirements:
Here are the assumed system requirements for an optimal gaming experience:
- Operating system: Windows 10/11
- Processor: Intel Core i7 8700K / AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
- Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080Ti / AMD Radeon RX5700XT
- RAM: 8GB
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage space: 150GB SSD
GTA 6 Recommended system requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 11 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i9-10900K / AMD Ryzen 5 5900X
- Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 / AMD Radeon RX 6800XT
- RAM: 16GB or more
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage space: 150GB NVMe SSD
An Nvidia GeForce GTX 3080 GPU or an AMD Radeon RX 5900XT and 16 GB of RAM or more are estimated as recommended specifications for decent graphical performance for GTA 6. On the other hand, the estimated minimum requirements for GTA 6 include an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti GPU or an AMD Radeon RX 5700XT and at least 8 GB of RAM.
We can assume that no exceptionally powerful PC is needed to play GTA 6 at 1080p with most settings on low and a mostly smooth 30-60FPS framerate. Most gaming PCs manufactured in the last six to seven years should be able to handle the title at the listed settings.
